SHARADBHAI'S STORY
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sharad bhai, a man whose humility, warmth, and devotion touched countless lives. Born in Kampala, Uganda, in 1955 he moved to London in 1970, carrying with him a spirit of kindness and community that would inspire everyone he met. After arriving in London, Sharad attended West Hampstead School and then went on to working at a hospital in Russel square while spending his evenings studying accountancy at Harrow College, balancing work, education, and family with grace and determination. A man of deep faith and unwavering love for his family, Sharad bhai lived his life with purpose and generosity. He was a devoted husband, a caring father, and a doting grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren, always eager to teach them the values of integrity, kindness, and joy. His guidance and playful nature made him a true role model—someone who knew how to blend love and wisdom in the most special of ways. In the community, he was a pillar—reliable and ever-ready to lend a helping hand. He always found ways to give back, offering support wherever it was needed. A particularly proud moment in his life was becoming a trustee of the Greenford Temple, where he was a valued and respected member of the team. His dedication to the temple embodied his spirit of selfless service and deep devotion, and his contributions left a lasting impact on those around him. His efforts reached far beyond the UK, touching hearts around the globe. He had a lifelong love of sports, especially cricket, where he found great joy in both playing and cheering from the sidelines. He also loved badminton and garba, even winning a few trophies for his dancing talent. way. Sharad bhai was also a loving brother and a devoted son, spending his life in service to his family, always putting others before himself. His love and dedication to our dear Ba were unwavering, reflecting the deep respect and sense of duty that defined his character. Though his journey here has ended, he leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and community. He taught us all to cherish one another, to give without expectation, and to live humbly. His laughter, his wisdom, and his gentle presence will forever be missed but always remembered. May his soul rest in peace, and may his life continue to inspire us all. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
